The MD1a and MD2a are both sort of neo-classics. Klaus, do you have any experience using, repairing or modifying the Older Groove Tubes series Mics? Apr 20- I finally picked up an Groove Tubes MD1a due to the great response they get on this board.
I want to get a new tube for my mic but don’t really. Groove Tubes MD1A and MD2A tube mics – the ones with the 9-pin D-type connectors. The MD2A is a bit brighter and I’ve read somewhere.
