Jun 20- Hard-water mineral deposits or lubrication loss would make the cartridge hard to pull up and push down. I’m guessing there is a repair kit . Classic stuck cartridge in moen faucet problem. Almost sounds like one of the ‘O’-rings has pulled out of it’s ‘O’-ring .
